“After speaking with you about how things were working out for us with Efact and our new scanning equipment I wanted to give you a comparison of old vs. new. I must say that what you have installed is a great improvement over the equipment and methodology that we were using before. The biggest change has been the addition of the Efact System. I was quite skeptical at first whether it would make a difference; surprisingly to me, it has. The one aspect of Streamline that I truly liked before I dove into the pool was its independence from my network – no longer did I have to worry about backups, data loss, maintenance, upgrades, virus, spam, etc. and the usual daily headache and unreliability of a small office network, never mind the effects of server system upgrades or future client upgrades to Vista.
The Efact hardware/software package gives me a similar independence – but in my office. Having a separate hard Drive driven, self-contained unit frees my critical closing scanned data from virus and penetration worries. In fact, I hope to move my pre-Efact scanned closing files onto that hard drive for this very reason and ultimately add online backup capability. I also don’t have to worry about my network going down and have it affect my scanned data access.”
